easy to find and just what i was looking for
this movie was on late at night and i stayed up to watch it. my family had the album when i was a child and i've seen the movie. i watched it again through adult eyes. my grandparents came over to america because of the progoms in the early 1900's and this fantastic movie is based on fact and reached into my heart. every weekend i speak to my elderly mother and play a song for her now. i am so delighted with this dvd.

Fiddler On the Roof CD
I believe all people can feel the feelings and experience this marvelous funny but sad classic play. However a Jewish person understands the references to many religious and cultural things. I grew up with this vinyl album playing in my home and had the pleasure of seeing the movie on tv the other night so i had to have the CD. This is how my great and grandparents lived. As in the play, when they were scattered by the Tsar they chose to come to America and here i am. This play is very very special to me. The end is so sad and so true. My mother used to stop the album before the end. She couldn't bear it. i'm getting the CD of the movie next!
