Dirty Little Secrets of the Vietnam War
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a Vietnam vet having served with the Navy in the Mekong Delta as a Huey door gunner during 1971-72. We operated from remote sites and got to know the locals well. When we left in Feb. 1971, I wondered what the fate of my contacts would be, and why we were in the mess we were in. This book answered many questions as to how & why were in their country to rescue Vietnam from the Vietnamese. I would hope our political leaders would read this book so it won't happen again.
Once I began reading, couldn't stop until I finish! It is a well written, easy read. The author repeats himself in some places, but that is expected to connect the story.
For the '60's history buff, a "must read" and goes will with my collection.
