Fantastic for my older small car, this is a must have if you can't always trust your battery. The extra battery bank features are also very welcome making this useful in more than one way.

Compact unit that works as described, but limited to 100Mbps
The product is neat and compact, with embedded network and micro-USB cables making it a plug and play solution for powering your Raspberry Pi from an 802.3af compliant switch or injector.
Each splitter came individually packaged in re-sealable bags with a small QA certificate which is a nice touch at this price point. The splitters are exactly as shown in the stock photos.
The metal RJ45 jack consists of 2 LEDs, one orange which lights up when a connection is established with the switch, and one green which is permanently unlit.
A quick voltage measurement on the output of the micro-USB cable after POE negotiation at a low load showed 5.2V. I have not performed any ripple testing, or voltage checks at the rated 2.4A draw. However as my Raspberry Pi is working as expected and this is within the 802.3af spec I'm willing to take it at face value.
The one thing to be aware of with this product is that the splitter side of the network is limited to 100Mbps as only 4 of the 8 pins are fitted in the built-in network cable. This is shown on the photos, but it is not in the description. This combined with recent Raspberry Pi's having gigabit grade NICs makes this a 4/5.
