Full metal jacket !
This was my first professional digital camera way back in the early 2000s , Fantastic camera. Slow by today's standards but the 28-70 lens is pin sharp and gives great results. It has so many features that we think of as modern , duel cards, tilting screen, super macro , 1.8 lens, optical viewfinder etc. I love this camera so much I still have 3 ! Plus Nikon and Fuji . 100% recommended if you can find one.

Should have been great but......!
I have to say that after 4 months of perfect use the very small plastic catch which closes the door on the battery has broken. So now its held closed with Velcro. Shame as it does everything it should and makes the camera feel great in your hands. Just be aware of how fragile this piece is.
