Inexpensive XLJ Option

Have had these in my Gen 1 frames about a week and am quite impressed. Was expecting a slightly loose fit but they fit securely without any excess play. Optical clarity is good with lenses reducing light strength and not adding/distorting colours. Haven't been near water as yet but glare from windscreens is noticibly reduced. Time will tell how they weather but would have no hesitation repurchasing.

Replacement Nib

Simple and trouble free replacement for the nibs in my Wing Sung 698 and Wing Sung 3003's. Perfect fit. No adjustment necessary for a pleasant writing experience. My only 'issue', and for me it's not a big one, is that the feed can sometimes have difficulty keeping up over long writing sessions. And with this I found it to vary from ink to ink. Overall, great option for those preferring a wider line. Will and have purchased again and have recommended to friends not happy with the 0.38 nibs sold on many of the Wing Sung models.

Quality Manual Sharpener

I purchased this as a replacement to my Derwent Super Point Mini and have zero regrets. Quality metal construction and blades that provide a quality long point with no effort. However, like the Mini, I find the included desk clamp okay at best and prefer not to have mine clamped, requiring me to hold the top of the sharpener as I turn the handle to sharpen the pencil. (Photos of point produced compared to a standard metal sharpener you'd find at Big W, etc).
