GREAT GAUGE ONLY NEEDS CALIBRATION
7 of 7 found this helpful great product very accurate and fast readings , only one trick DONT CONNECT THE GAUGE TO THE SENSOR THE FIRST TIME WHILE THE SENSOR INSIDE THE EXHAUST IT WILL GIVE U 22.4 AND WILL STUCK THERE ..
the right way to do it is to calibrate the sensor here is how
1- connect the gauege to power source without connecting the sensor to it then switch ignition on (it will show E2)
2- switch ignition off then connect the sensor to the gauge while the sensor is in the air( NOT INSIDE THE EXHAUST ) (IT WILL SHOW htr MESSAGE ) AFTER 30 SECONDS IT WILL SHOW (CALL) IT MEANS ITS CALIBRATING NOW and since the sensor is on the air it will show 22.4 again
3- switch ignition off now and insert the sensor into the exhaust and now you are good to go
NOTE: IF U DIDN'T DO THAT THE FIRST TIME THEN U NEED TO DELETE THE WRONG READINGS , TO DO THAT REMOVE THE SENSOR CONNECTOR FROM THE GAUGE AND SWITCH ON UR CAR IGNITION THAT WILL ERASE ALL THE OLD CALIBRATIONS FROM THE GAUGE THEN SWITCH OFF THEN START AGAIN AS SHOWN ABOVE
