An excellent example of forward thinking and a quality product by Fuji!
I bought this camera based on reviews on DP Review and others and on my experiences with the remarkable Fuji S6500fd which uses the same sensor. The Fuji F30 is today a true "retro" camera but is able to hold its own against current cameras. It was sold in about 2006 and was ahead of its time then with respect to its low high-iso noise levels and excellent picture quality. Today it is still capable of excellent quality photos despite its 6.3 Mpix sensor. It is small and light enough to carry in a pocket, and simple to use.

A classic Nikon lens at home on FX and DX camera bodies
2 of 2 found this helpful This is one of the classic Nikon lenses for use on film or full frame digital cameras. It comes from a long line of 20mm Nikon lenses dating back to 1967, and most serious photographers have one for landscape, indoor and other work where a wide field of view is required.
The D version of the lens has been in production since 1993 and is still available new. It has a well deserved reputation for sharpness while being light and compact enough to carry anywhere.
On DX format cameras, the focal length is equivalent to about 30mm in FX terms, still a very useful focal length. For casual walk-around photography and serious landscape work, this focal length is often ideal for the vast majority of situations.
Overall a lens of high quality and usefulness.

A classic Nikon flash for use with all current DSLRs at a bargain price.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great flash for use on digital SLRs for walk-around photography, portraiture, strobe use, etc. Its trigger voltage is safe for all current Nikon DSLRs and its automatic flash function works very well with these cameras. It has a manually operated zoom function and its general construction is typical Nikon, beautifully built! Overall a pleasure to use!
(Check that flash charges and triggers correctly, pull-out diffusers are intact, button markings are legible, plastic shoe is undamaged and battery contacts are corrosion-free before bidding.)
