Very interesting look at Star Trek from TOS to DS9
A wonderful book published in 1994, (I believe it has been later updated.) I wanted the cover with the movie Enterprise. A cool variety of pictures. Highly recommended.

Excellent guide to the Kung Fu TV series. Some behind the scenes info, on it's creation, and fairly detailed descriptions of each episode, and later tv films and sequel series.

Soma Cube: an Attractive Wooden Work of Art and Puzzle
Wonderful wood version of the classic Parker Bros. Soma Cube puzzle of 1969. As a kid I had a blue plastic one; slightly larger than this one. This one comes with a nice wooden container to hold the seven unique pieces together; a base and a cover.
It comes with 50 cards of the different shapes you can also make, beside the cube: a "well", a "dog", a "bed," etc. With a picture of the object on the front, and the solution on the back. But:
The only bad thing is they don't give you ANY Example of how to make the cube, so you have to carefully make notes -- like an illustration -- when you first disassemble it. Fortunately I still have the original booklet from the plastic one, which does give one solution. There are probably solutions on the internet, as Wiki, etc. gives the history and more technical background.
Other than this version not supplying just One Solution it, I highly recommend it. I think precocious kids would like it, as it's a break from the digital world, lol. Kind of a MineCraft cube: as it encourages them to think spatially.
The attractive wood makes a Work of Art -- that can have various shapes -- and it's also a Puzzle! A+++
