THE industrial DVD player for extended use!
3 of 4 found this helpful If you are using DVD in a continuous play situation, especially over an extended time, then this is THE machine to use. My experience with consumer machines, regardless of the brand (and I tried many) was that after 3 months they either stopped reading the disc or the motor failed. This machine is designed to last in an industrial or professional situation. Now that Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are an item, you can often get this hard working player for less dollars - a real bargain as long as you can use standard DVDs or CDs in your application. My company owns over 50 of these and they are a real gem in the industry. Thank you Pioneer!
