Outstanding packaging and perfect fit
The glass arrived in 6 layers of protective packaging (cellophane, bubble wrap, brown paper, cardboard, heavy foil wrap, and packing tape). Glass is exactly what we needed to replace the broken one. Dropped right in, and looks like new. Many thanks!!!

Decent tool for the job at a great price
1 of 1 found this helpful Pros: the tank is of very strong / heavy construction which is something you want in a pressure vessel. The welds at the seems look well made. All the threaded ports fit and functioned as expected. Liquid filled pressure gauge is a plus. Assembly was easy though not without a few small hurdles to overcome. Again, overall good value for the money and it works.
Cons: The liquid pressure gauge provided has two scales kg/cm2 and MPa which are essentially )(very closely) a 10:1 ratio so having two scales like this is only marginally useful. One would expect that for a device like this sold on the US market, the gauge would have a psi scale.
Clocking the large dump valve and the nozzle is a challenge since the threads are not cut exactly so that fully tightening the valve would result in the right orientation. I had to make a shim to end up with the valve handle on top which took some experimentation. Similarly the nozzle does not end up in the orientation it should when fully tightened so it needs to be shimmed.
The fill connector did not match my standard US compressor quick connect coupling. It was significantly thicker and a different profile. I just used one of many spare connectors I had lying around which worked fine since the threads in the small ball valve are the correct universal size. Minor annoyance, but could be a bigger issue for someone who does not have extra parts on hand.
Other thoughts: overall a usable product and good value. If I knew ahead of time everything I know now, I would still order it at this price. Not a con but due to the sturdy construction this tank is rather heavy. I only use it occasionally so it's not a problem but if someone were to use it all day long they are going to get a workout.
