Brilliant waterproof lamp
Excellent product, easy to install. Used in bathroom of 1940s house. Comes with four mounting screws and wall plugs, which worked fine for me on plasterboard ceiling. Once you've removed the diffuser (3 x screws) and the bulb, loosen three more screws to release the inner mounting plate which helpfully is tethered to the main body with a sturdy plastic strap. Electrical connection is by a push-button release block with room for two wires in for live and return, plus earth. Loads of room for Wago etc connectors, even the chunky ones - which are not supplied. You'll need 4 x 3 plus about 50cm of live, neutral and earth suite plus earth sleeving. Oh, two closed grommets are also included which you'll have to cut a hole in for the wires. But I used a 20mm Open PVC Grommet instead which fitted the pre- cut hole and was large enough for 3 x lighting cables (line in, line out and switch). There's a cable clamp included which is perfect size for wires to the lamp. Overall, A great bit of kit. NB. Do not turn the power on until your happy with the wiring and have installed the bulb! Read the installation instructions...
