Good, not as good as the previous version
1 of 1 found this helpful The reason for purchasing the NS-HDRAD2 was the older ver has features I really like.
I used the old ver in my shop, and when I walk in, flip on the lights and the radio would power right up from the wall outlet. And, the older ver also has the external antenna, which, where I live pulls in the weak stations.
The newer HDRAD2 will not power up when you apply the juice to it, you have to manually hit the power button each time. No biggie, just not what I had hoped for.
The reception is somewhat poorer with the built-in antenna.
The NEW unit is ok if you live in a strong signal area.
I would much rather find another older NS-HDRAD.
