It's exactly what they say it is: a toy.
3 of 3 found this helpful Even though it is advertised as a toy, I was hoping to get at least quality where you can make out what is being recorded. I've tried different sources, weight settings on the encoder arm, and volume input... and I only get barely recognizable sound.
I would *love* to see a little more work put into this to raise it from just a 'toy' to be something usable. Better quality engraving, ability to do larger 'records', etc. I would gladly pay more than twice the price for something like that.
