OEM Manuals Always Preferred
Fluke (along with the other legacy tech companies) did outstanding manuals which always enhance the use of the equipment. At reasonable prices (this was) and using media mailing I always opt for an original in lieu of a scan (even though some outfits do really good scans).

Cost Effective Easy Upgrade
Included mount makes installation easy. Gained a rough 6 to 10 db signal over the standard square antenna. Actual published data was reassuring not least of which specifications included power requirements (voltage) so there was no question it would work with the receiver. The fact that a range of voltage is specified is a plus.

The Daiwa 2 position switch is solidly constructed. The unused port is grounded and the isolation at hf is more than 60db.
