Mike Oldfield Man on the Rocks album

Mostly my wife and I love this album. Like any album from any group, there are tracks we prefer and those we are not quite so keen on. We both quite like Luke Stiller's vocal renderings too. We both love Sailing, Man on the Rocks and Moonshine, but we differ on some of the other tracks. A couple are a little depressing (matching Mike Oldfield's mood when writing them), but his guitar solos still lift tracks like Castaway. Overall, a very listenable album, with more than enough good music in it to rate it as enjoyable.

Always a simplistic story but enjoyable. One can put one's mind in neutral and enjoy the ride.
