Good material, but may fail due to hollow tie ends

The buffer is good, but not sure how long the tie ends will last when pulled on when the boat rocks with waves against the jetty. The tie ends on these buffers are hollow with the air pressure forming the tie end. Normally this is solid to prevent the rope from tearing through the tie eye, deflating the buffer.
