Networked two computers with two of these cards, primary hosts the internet. Upgrades from older onboard. One card was installed in an older secondary computer which is setup as a media center. Little better data transfer speed and media sharing through a bridged connection. Great price and worth the upgrade! Media better with less lag between both computers and over internet with bridged connection running 100ft cat 6 to secondary computer.

Excellent card if looking to upgrade an older system for media purposes. Older card but you can still get drivers for W7. Game port may or may not work. Sound quality is great even with a 2.1 system. May have to play with settings 2.1, 4.1, 5.1 for best sound quality. Have a 2.1 system but it sounds best with the 4.1 setting. Using a sound bar and sub for a media center.
