A few minor disppointments but one has to consider that this is a budget purchase and not from a major instrument brand so all in all good value.
Whilst it is a very affordable instrument, it only has the same standard acoustic body as a 6 string acoustic and not the larger/deeper body of other acoustic bass guitars and therefore suffers a bit of tone and depth of resonance when played acoustically. It appears to be a bass scaled neck on a standard 6 string acoustic body. When played amplified it is not too bad and is quite sensitive to high end frequencies with its bridge piezo pickup.
The standard action is also a bit high and will need adjusting at the bridge, hopefully easily lowered by removing shims, but this will be am individual's personal setting. It comes with an allen key for adjusting the neck truss rod, which was required on mine to flatten a slight bow. Note that it is a glued neck to the top and side of the body and not a screw and plate attached neck.
The overall quality of finish is also a bit disappointing, but one has to consider that this is a budget purchase and not from a major instrument brand so all in all good value for the price.

Good quality product and god value for money
1 of 1 found this helpful Having been surprised at the cost and variation of this filter at the local auto parts stores, I decided to shop for one on eBay. Not all of these filters come with the filter canister drain attachment as this one does which makes the oil change much less messy.
A 13-15mm hose is attached to the fitting and after removing the drain plug it pushes into the drain plug hole and by pushing up, clicks into place and opens the drain valve to empty the canister ahead of removal.
Both O-rings the small one for the drain plug and the large one for the canister body are also supplied in a separate bag. I will be ordering another one of these when my next oil change is due. A similar well known brand was $20 at a smaller auto parts outlet and $25 at one of the largest chains in the country. This product represents very good quality and value for the price.
