Imac 21.5" 2017 A1418 4K I5 3.0GHz 16GB 256GB SSD Radeon Pro 555 MNDY2LL/A READ

An iMac that runs the latest iOS for under 5 bills….
I was looking for an iMac of the 2017 vintage or newer (so it could be upgraded to the latest iOS Ventura) but it had to be under $400 AND have at least a Core i5 processor, 16 gigs of RAM and an SSD hard drive. Pretty daunting challenge. But I did it. This unit (see picture but ignore the keyboard, trackpad and mouse - I bought those separately) had a Quad Core i5 processor, the 16 gigs of RAM I wanted, and a 256 gig SSD hard drive. All for just over 3 bills shipped to me. It fired right up, got the immediate upgrade to Ventura, and once the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse arrived (a day later) I was good to go. And this 2017 iMac is everything I’d hoped for.

Great music playback machine for everything but Blu-Ray. A steal for the $$
Been looking for an affordable universal disc player - for music not video - for a while now. A friend recommended the Pioneer DV-79AVi, telling me I should be able to pick it up cheaply and that he was highly impressed with the sound. Well, I found one on eBay, purchased it and have to say, I got WAYYYYY more than my money's worth. For an older digital machine, the DV-79AVi plays CD back very well (though I've heard better, abet at a much higher cost), and has a digital out so if you wanted, you could add an outboard DAC to improve playback. BUT, where the DV-79AVi really shines is on high resolution discs like SACD and DVD-A. It outperforms (or at least equals) machines costing many times it price. If you want to find out what all the buzz regarding high-res is all about, buy one of these player and you'll definitely hear it. Built like a tank. Has an audio direct button that turns off all video circuits for purer audio playback. Has HDMI for DVD's (if that's your thing - I haven't used mine for that so I can't speak to its picture quality). And runs smooth as silk. Can't recommend this player highly enough.

Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II -Near Mint- #86

Great camera
I find the Canon G7x Mk.II to be a wonderful camera (I’m not a vlog/blogger so I’m less concerned with its video capabilities). It has all the controls you want, and none you don’t. The folding touch screen is the real star as I keeps you from wasting time scrolling through menus. Is it the latest/greatest? Probably not. But it a perfectly wonderful camera at a great price that will serve you well for years to come. I’m
