Perfect Fit
1 of 1 found this helpful Don't waste your money on floppy wiper arms from Dorman. These are quiet because they fit much more tightly to the drive pinion.

SC-37 is Easy to Live With and Sounds Great
2 of 3 found this helpful Great receiver, has all of the latest features. Pioneer's MCACC Auto setup works well. RC mode is a big plus, particularly if receiver is not line of sight. Runs much cooler than my previous preamp-amplifier combination and has more power. So efficient that it will actually put out very close to the two channel rated power into five channels with less than 0.1% distortion.
Cons: The remote should have larger buttons, less of them and they should be shaped for easy identification in the dark. The remote's backlight is useless as it is red and too dim to differentiate the key markings. The receiver is a litte slow to switch between the HDMI inputs. To be fair, I'm comparing this to my old processor that used mechanical relays to switch component video.
Pros: The remote layout is, at least, halfway decent and easy to memorize. Programming the remote by using the learning function is quick and easy.
On-screen menus are quite good and logically organized. The user manual is above average and a must for understanding the tremendous flexibility of this receiver.
Sound quality is fantastic. Dialogue is clearly audible and there is a lot of punch to movie soundtracks. Music sounds great too.
This receiver is a true bargain at the prevailing prices. It is also a Home Theater top pick. I don't think that you can go wrong with this one!
