Stylish and High Quality but Pricy
After shopping around for a while, this is the most stylish laptop riser around. It is constructed of aluminium which blends in beautifully with my surface book.
At its lowest setting the mechanism raises my laptop around 17cm and with the adjustment another 6cm is possible.
The only downsides regarding this product I would say are:
1. When you take your laptop off, the spring loaded mechanism pops up suddenly and unceremoniously - I wish it had a "soft close" setting.
2. When unloaded, the stand sits in its highest position because it relies on the weight of your laptop to lower it. This takes some getting used to but is fine.
3. I wish it had some form of cable management built in - would be good if it held my charging cable close so it doesn't fall off my desk when not used.
4. Cost wise, I feel like it is probably $30-40 more expensive than it should be. That said, they have this market cornered because there is little competition.
