So cheap!

The lens is cheap, light, and gets the job done. Focus is average.
0 of 2 found this helpful I bought this product because I needed a zoom lens for a wedding I had to shoot last minute.
As I found, it fails in every way.
I liked how light it was and small unlike my 75-300mm tamron lens. The price was really a steal for any zoom lens for that matter.
But, the photos aren't tack sharp.
I assume this lens was made for shooting inanimate objects rather than a photo-journalistic lens and capturing in the moment. And the lighting fixture is non-existent. My photos were slightly yellow. (It could be that my lens was used)
I have a 50mm 1.8 prime lens and it can't compare in sharpness or quickness to focus. It also slightly brightens up photos in a dark atmosphere. I also got it cheaper (100$ vs $189)
