Save your money, buy another brand
This mirror is not even close to being a direct fit for a '06 Silverado as advertised. I had to modify the wiring extensively for the mirror to plug in the truck. That is a huge problem. I understand you get what you paid for but in this case I got much less. The mirror does not go up and down, side to side properly, the glass hits the case at certain angles causing the glass to move not where you tell it to. The savings are very quickly negated by the extra work involved in actually making it work and the aggravation with very poor quality. I would recommend buying a different brand or a used OEM unit. I would have returned the mirror, but the customer needed it there and now, hence the need to modify to make it work.
Overall this is a poor knock off, and I will never use anuthing made by Kool Vue again.

Decent economy brakes.
1500 mile review:
Rotors seem to be holding up great. Brake pads have the stopping power of cheese. Having said that, this is a good deal. You can't expect OEM for $40/axle.
