Roku 2 streaming
2 of 2 found this helpful I had the original Roku for years and liked it but I was unable to connect to certain streaming providers like YouTube with the Roku 1. I got the Roku 2 and now can access more streaming and it is great. It is a small, simple device. but does a great job. I have never had an issue with either of the Rokus that I have owned. One difference between the two versions (besides price) is that the original Roku had component connectors. The newer modules only have HDMI connectors so you would need an adapter to connect it to an older TV. I use it on a daily basis to access HBO-Go or Netflix streaming or now You Tube.
