great product for ipod touch users
I really like these sure e115m earphones. I use them at the gym, and while working. I work in a noisy chemistry laboratory with very loud fume hoods and vacuum pumps running almost constantly.
the foam inserts for these earphones create a seal which blocks out nearly 100% of that ambient noise. and in fact sometimes I wear them without listening to any music just to block out noise. they provide the same effect at the gym. I dont have to listen to the crappy gym music.
the controls operate my ipod touch just fine. pause, ff, rw, vol up and vol down are easy to get to even when I have a lab coat and gloves on.
however, my friend tried these headphones on his iphone and they did NOT operate his iphone. what's the difference between iphone controls and ipod touch controls? I couldn't say but it works fine for me.
sound quality is superior. I've heard better sound, but not at this price point. and these are great sounding earbuds. I highly recommend them.

One of a kind, in the invaluable Asimov Style
I bought this book because I have a first printing of the companion book: "The Chemistry of Carbon" also by Isaac Asimov.
I draw from this short book heavily while preparing lectures for my College-Level General and Organic Chemistry classes.
I couldn't ask for a better set of texts, even though some of the material inside is pretty dated. (for example, he mentions a promising new insecticide "DDT") And the writing is pretty sexist....he list some interesting compounds that doctors may be familiar with, and he also lists compounds that housewives might be familiar with.
Of course this is from the 1950s so he never stops to consider that a woman could be a doctor or a man may actually clean something in the house.
but overall this book is a real gem. I wouldn't sell it for $1,000.
