Hot toys K2SO

Once again Hot toys reaches that pinnacle for 1/6th action figures. K2SO is an impressive piece, a mix of plastic bod and metal legs give it a good weight and once the eyes are lit, he really looks the part. Yes it's expensive, but bang for the buck, it worth it. For those wondering, yes, he fits into a detolf. Coming with a grenade and a blaster, he is a little light on accessories but the pers eye feature and over all sculpt more than make up for that. Paint work, is the usual height standard. Subtlety weathered, making K2SO look exactly like he did in the movie rogue one. An excellent addition to your collection. Recommended .. oh yes. One small point. His hands are fragile. Not so fragile as to cause concern but care should be taken when moving the jointed fingers. They are similar to the fingers on both iron man and war machine. The eyes are movable and one lit really add to the models realism. Personally I want the on all the time. The on off switch is easily accessed by removing the top part of K,s head. This may eventually wear down the pegs but this still the best solution short of a magnet, such as the one used on the hot toys death trooper. The base which I always us is the standard rogue one base, coming with an optional sticker, showing the face of K2SO and the usual faux metal name plate. He is strong enough to stand by himself but do you want to risk a £200+ figure? So out of 5 stars , I'm going with 4 and half. Purely due to the limited selection of accessories. But as he didn't have much in the movie, this score may be slightly harsh. A great purchase, excellent model. Any thing else would be vague and unconvincing.
