Brother Odd by Dean Koontz
Brother Odd follows the life of Odd Thomas, a sort-of psychic, ghost-talker, and spiritual problem-solver. This is the 3rd in the series, and as with the first two, it makes you want to read the next one. Koontz pulls you into Odd's simple life (although complications seem to find him, he is a simple fellow). His complex problems, and his attempts in helping the Dead-but-not-done get to the other side, or at least attempt to solve their problems, compels the reader to keep turning pages (and although Elvis appears to hang out with Odd for his friendship, and to provide a cool laugh and soundtrack, how could the King ever have a real problem?). A great read, that leaves me wanting another helping of Odd Thomas. So start with the first one, and join Odd as he converses with the restlessly dead. And enjoy the Elvis soundtracks, for I believe the soundtrack will change in the 4th one, to a more "Bratty" sound, "Frank-ly" speaking.

I can't write a review.....
I'm too busy....this book is so good, I can't put it down to write a review. I've missed 2 days of wErk, and haven't ate or answered my phone trying to finish it...it's THAT good. Seriously though, it's A 692 page Stephen King book PACKED FULL of the best short stories, and some not so short. Just try it, but make sure you have plenty of time, because I don't seem to be able to put it down. Something...m-makes me keep... ta-turning the pa-pa-PAGES.... ..
