Very professional...could be longer
I use these headsets all the time for work. The sets I purchased here work well but the cord leading to the walkie needs to be about 12 inches longer.

Sound Mixer approved.
3 of 3 found this helpful I am a professional Sound Mixer in mostly reality TV for over 20 years. I shoot my own projects with Canon DSLRs and I love this mic for on-the-fly interviews and gathering natural sound while shooting documentary style. I have never experienced any low level noise which I've seen written about this mic. I edit my own audio and video and this mic has never let me down. The version with the 9 volt battery seems too floppy and bulky to deal with. This pickup pattern of this mic combined with it's light weight construction and durable parts make it a good investment for me.
