Balboa WiFi Module Kit 2nd Generation

Does only basic things after a very complex iOS setup
I think this module is good for very basic operation, like turning pumps and lights on/off, but don't expect more unless you have an even higher-end hot tub which offers a lot of additional, controllable features. In may case, simply restarting the jets after the factory-limited 15-minute timer elapses was all I was after and it does this task quite well. I can restart jets for another 15 min after the timer on my watch tells me the earlier cycle has elapsed. I was hoping to be alerted when the jets stopped but not so. If you're looking for features that are not found within the hot tub control panel, forget that. I was hoping I could set longer pump cycles than the console allowed so that chemicals could get mixed in longer, but not so. Only restarts the pumps. In my case with a MasterSpa Twilight 8.25, all I can do is restart pumps 1 & 2 and click lights on/off. Again, enough for my purpose but what is your purpose? Also, setup for iPhones is not friendly. This app was clearly designed for Android in mind. iPhone setup is very manual. You cannot pick your home network from discovered devices but instead must manually input SSID and PW and encryption type. And the process/instructions were really bad and incomplete. Documentation is not Balboa's strength.

DEFECTIVE - stopped working
Worked for a couple days and then quit. I kept trying to get it to start working and was able to for a few weeks. Then it stopped working again in the middle of brushing my teeth. Issue is not with charging. I followed instructions exactly. There must be a defect in this particular style or the unit I was sold was not new. I've never had trouble with other style Oral B Vitality toothbrushes in the past until they are several years old and stop charging.
