Works quite well, wire could be thicker
There is not much to say about it. It works well. The output current for all USB sockets together is 3 amps. The wire could have been a bit thicker. This adapter is only for devices that need little power.

Works very well. Great value!
That little battery is very essential for the raid-performance of the server. After the initial charging we had to unplug and plug it in again and since then it works like a charm. I cannot tell though about the long term experience but expect it to last. It is fully compatible.
It is a hassle to order this very important replacement part from Dell directly and it would not have arrived quicker but certainly would have been much more expensive.

Waterproof, but not when riding in rain, still recommended
It works as it should. It is relatively small and has a long enough cable to connect it. I connected it to the parking light wire of the motorcycle. It is maybe waterproof under light rain, but mounted on a motorcycle riding in regular rain I seriously doubt that the to plastic shells (you see the line in the picture) keep out the water since there is no rubber seal. I for my part mounted it behind the wind shield in a dry area where no wind will press the water into it and no rain falls directly on it.
For the price paid and the small casing I'd buy it again. Recommended.
