I bought this book because I really like the sharp and unusual look of Peter Joel Witkin. This book I really love and call it by a nickname "the little book of Angels & Demons". On the one hand book's format is relatively small, on the other hand it is a powerful book because of its content. I would compare it with the little book of poetry - when the main subject of the songs is very black abyss.

Araki is one of my favorite photographers. His work can be recognized in different ways, especially through the different books. If I can, I collect books of his photography and for this reason actually bought the book. Must be noted that each book has something special. What is special in this one? My opinion it is a wide variety of works presented by the photographer - both in terms of times and in terms of subjects. I would say that this book is a fine summary of Araki's works. What is bad in it - when you open it, it's over so quickly and you want it more.

3 of 3 found this helpful Generally I looked for cheap film Nikon camera for 35 mm film: I'd like to work with film camera of Nikon (in additional to my other film cameras) due to I had Nikon lenses from my digital Nikon camera. So I bought the Nikon EM film camera body and I'm very satisfied! Why:
1/ the price of item was low (both of item and shipping).
2/ it works properly (including light meter, manual mode, automatic mode). As today I did two films with it and was very satisfied.
3/ the item is in exc. external conditions - all battons exist and etc.
4/ despite the fact that this is SRL camera, it has low weight and it's very comfortable to take it anywhere.
5/ all my lenses fit it.
In the net I read opposing views on this camera but I am very happy with it and in the future I'd like to buy additional EM camera but with original lens.
My opinion is that Nikon EM is very pleasant camera for photoamateurs like me.
