Great 802.11ac performance, yet only Wave 1

However, if you can choose, buy Intel 8265 — that one has MU-MIMO and Wave 2 features.

All fine, but had to resort to very deep tech knowledge to make it work

The stock firmware is very old, USB identifiers are Dell-specific, the USB configuration has everything locked incl. the AT port and the modem simply does not power up in Linux environment (which does not care about Dell-specific identifiers). I had to resort to engineering-grade tooling to set the normal USB configuration, flash the latest firmware and unlock the modem to make it power up.
