Excellent book. Recommended for anyone who wants to learn C.
I bought this book as an introduction to programming. I will be doing mostly embedded programming, so learning a more popular starting language like Java or Python would be pointless.
This book is written by Dennis Ritchie, who incidentally is also the creator of the C programming language. Although I have almost no prior programming experience, I was quickly making my own simple programs after reading only a few pages of this book.
I'd recommend this book to people of any level of programming experience.
