I am not picky at all, but my cheap Logitechs sound better. I really wanted to love these and thought spending the few extra dollars would pay off sound wise, but these things are almost unlistenable out of the box. The EQ is unbalanced with overpowering bass. I have them hooked up to a pc with integrated audio out (not a separate sound card) . I ended up downloading the Realtek EQ software and changing the settings frequency settings that way. Once adjusted the speakers were fine; I have certainly heard better Bose. I'd prefer a system with integrated EQ controls in the future.
