    Sennheiser wireless MX W1 earphones
Being in my line of work can be at times.........noisey to say the least and being a music lover having the radio on just isn't worth the hastle, unless it's up that load that the neighbours all club together to buy me a hearing aid (digital of course ;-)) as a polite hint.....No, to say shut the F *** up. Hint taken or rather I'd wondered how long it would take them. Ebay here I come. Put the usual search starters in and build it from there. See whats going on in the fidelity world and Google every thing that takes my inerest to narrow it down. Now as I said my line of work can be noisey but also it can be a bloody hazard when wired to your MP3 Player and your standing at a polishing machine and the spindle is coming at you at 2800rpm.........Picture the scene. Just spent £200+ on a set of Sennheiser 'wired' earbuds and, Yep they sound fantastic.....Then the air turns a lighter shade of pail....Hmmm, the polishing spindle 1, me 0 and £200 lighter!! Now this has happened on more than one occasion, but I wasn't that stupid to have spent £200+ untill I had done the trials......well mabe once, hense the trials :-) I'm getting there........ Then I spotted Sennheiser MX W1 wireless earphones. The first of their kind. "Crikey" I said just the ticket. Then I saw the price...The Bloody chair fell over before I could sit on it. Picking myself up (didn't dust myself off) hey I'm a polisher !!. I thought, OK. Lets take the preverbial bull by the horns and give em a go. I'm sitting here now typing this with the set I bought off Ebay from a chap that must have been hit by the credit crunch or maybe a Crunchy... hey it was a Friday. All I can say is 'WOW' They look and sound pretty damn cool ( I don't though) I look like a twit thats pretending he is important and has two mobiles and needs a blue tooth head set for each. I'm sure as I'm sitting here outside the supermarket playing with my new toy as the Mrs is doing the shopping (thought bubble) 'men'!!! The kids that have just escaped school at 3.30 are thinking...If we nick the right one, he may not notice, depending on which way he's leaning. Probably had something to do with the vacant look I had on my face because Acoustic Alchemy all of a suden sounded bloody marvelous. Sennheiser have set the bench mark here with the MX W1's....I love em. The sound is crisp and clear and I no longer have to worry about getting all caught up in the polisher.......hell I don't have to worry about anyone outside my personal bubble. Only one gripe, as good as they sound and look, I'm starting to worry about how much it's gonna cost to have a new pair of ears sewn on every other week! With the twist and fit being a great idea.....for the Draughtsman who thought there was only 3 types or sizes of ears. When I do the twisty fitty thinggy with the mid size rubbers it's sort of OK, and their the better of the 3 different sizes that are supplied. But if I, just gentley lift them from the base so as the speaker/earbub fits better in my canal or rests better on it the sound quality is soooooo much better..............Bottom line is they just don't fit very well and certainly are not cacelling out these school bratts. I'll give them 99 out of 100. Just need Sennhheiser to call me and say got some neoprene covers to fit my ear and that they will cancell all outside noise and make my new investment fit as snug as that bug in his rug. Still I love the sound quality and styling ...BIG UP SENNHEISER. IRC
