Works, but could work painfully
It works, but it can be rather uncomfortable if your teeth are sensitive at all. I have not used other whitening products so this may be typical. Afterwards, my teeth are hypersensitive for about 2 days. I do not have sensitive teeth in general. Also if i put enough product in my mouth guard so that it comes up to my gumline, it burns during application. The product definitely whitens though, so if you can put up with the discomfort for a couple days, it's a win.
