Masters of classic rock
Epic bluesy singing with beautiful, searing lead guitar and a solid rhythm section combine to deliver music that manages to be sparse yet full, intense yet relaxed. Great compilation.

Compared to Badmotorfinger it is more of an understated album. Took me several listens to get into it. It doesn't clobber you like Badmotorfinger and that's ok. Very layered with some of Kim's best guitar work. Nice variety of tunes. The band plays comfortably together. Sound like seasoned rock veterans enjoying their craft. Great sequencing. Album flows well. More artistic and mature LP than their early releases which often seemed more about sheer heaviness and power.
