for Mossberg Tactical Shotgun Magazine Follower 12ga Low-Drag High Vis NDZ Red
19 February 2019
Quality, effective
This piece is much easier to see than the dull steel oem follower. It also feels more slippery in the tube. Disassembly can be a pain if you're doing it for the first time on a modern Mossberg. I recommend blasting the mag/receiver union with a heat gun to loosen up the thread locking compound.

Paiste 2002 Ride 24". New never played CY0001061624
04 January 2017
Thunderous!
This review is for the 24" 2002 classic ride, not the reverend big al ride. This cymbal is huge and powerful and perfectly encapsulates that classic Bonham sound. The bow is surprisingly articulate given the size. You can play fast doubles and they still come through clear. The bell is several steps higher in pitch than the bow (which I love/need) and is large enough to hit easily. It produces massive, icy tones which cut through any mix. The crash is thunderous and shimmering, although it takes quite a lot of energy to get this heavy cymbal moving. It responds well to glancing strikes with the shoulder of the stick, closer to your hand than you might hit a crash cymbal. The tone is a beautiful balance of focus and wash, somewhere between a Rude Power Ride (dry) and a Giant Beat (wash). I think it's prefect. This is probably my favorite cymbal that I've ever owned.

PDP DW Concept Direct Drive Double Bass Drum Pedal - Extended Footboard PDDPCXFD
06 December 2016
Bought pedal twice, problems both times
I purchased a PDP Concept chain drive pedal in 2013. Had problems with short set screws which caused my bearing housing to become damaged. Now the beaters always wobble. Bought a direct drive pedal Decmber 2016, pedal was assembled incorrectly, causing the slave-side "cobalt" drive linkage to crash with the hex shaft 60 earlier than the main side. To be fair, DW has been extremely helpful in both situations. Nether pedal is unusable, they just require a heat gun to loosen up the locktite. I'm an engineer, I understand quality and inspection. PDP needs more of it. Incorrect assembly is amateur. I expect better.
