The Necronomicon-Fun for Psychos of all ages!
0 of 1 found this helpful This book is designed & drawn the same as the book in the actual Evil Dead movies. With a wine colored ink on yellowed paper, it is easy to get quickly pulled into the fantasy of actually reading something that is taboo. Beautifully illustrated & easy to read once you decode the NECRONOMICON alphabet. It is written in english but with stylistic characters. Once your eyes get used to what they see, it will be easy to read the incantations. Great for Zombie lovers or if you want to scare your little brothers & sisters with this evil looking text wrapped in faux human skin. The texture is not rubbery at all but smooth & bumpy almost like scar tissue or a keloid.

A Must Read For Current or Potential Scorpion Owners
1 of 1 found this helpful The book is filled with anatomy, description, distinction & easy to understand explanation to make the reader a more knowledgeable & responsible pet owner. Loaded with pictures of both docile to dangerous scorpions with emphasis on safety for not only you but the animal as well. From the novice scorpion pet owner to the experienced scorpion breeder in a pet shop or commercial capacity, this book should easily be considered a value to have as a quick yet in depth reference to be kept close by these beautiful, mysterious & dangerous animals. I can see the reader not only reading this book more than once, but also searching thorugh it for reference when & if they decide to take a scorpion as a pet. I love this book.

For every young writer/poet/dancer seekin inspiration.
The images are subdued and beautiful with a dream like quality which amplifies the written word making the story spring to life in your imagination. The story itself is much more than a telling of an incident...it has a whimsical flow much the way poetry is written. I read this book as an 8 year old boy in a public school library and was inspired to tell stories of my own. I never forgot the book & 28 years later while searching for the very book that I thought would most likely be lost to time, imagine my surprise when I found only 1 pristine copy for sale as if the book itself had been waiting for me to return to it. Magical.
