A Brief History of XNA :-)
The bood is pitched to the intermediate C# programmer and aims to introduce the XNA 1.0 framework fundamentals. I Would definately recomend reading something like 'C# Programming for the Absolute Beginner' by Andy Harris first if you are not that savvy with C#. Be aware that this book is for XNA 1.0 and some of the syntax differs from XNA 2.0 . I Understand the author has written another book to cover 2.0. Overall a good introduction to XNA Game programming for the C# programmer.

The best introduction to C# by far
Having downloaded endless PDF torrents on C# I finally found a book that actually interactively engaged the reader in the subject matter being taught in a fun and intelligable way. The majority of books I previewed such as the o'rielly range seemed to be more about the author demonstrating knowledge rather than teaching it!. Needless to say I found this book to be the best in its category and bought it (took a bit of searching!). This is an excellent introduction and will have the reader coding at an intermediate level in C# within a few hours of study. It is fun, engaging and humerous. I highly reccomend this title. If only other technical literature could adopt its layout and presentation style!. Very happy with this purchase and have since moved onto XNA Game programming as a result. Well done Andy Harris!.
