HP quality delivered
100% new sealed Hewlett-Packard unit as promised. Replaced the same that was auto ejecting the RDX media. Updated firmware. Eject problem solved.

Filter introduced unacceptable chemical taste.
The filter appeared to be an official WaterDrop product in sealed packaging. The only difference from previous was that PUR was the supplier to WaterDrop indicated on packaging. The filter after initial priming introduced a chemical taste in the water and ice. It surprised me so I confirmed with my spouse. Removed from refrigerator and taste went away. Water tastes better with no filter.
