Synthetic Fabric Dye
I bought this new dye hoping I would be able to dye a light pink velvet jacket purple and i was very happy with the results. It's a lovely shade of medium purple now but I recommend using 2 bottles if you want a darker more intense colour. Keep in mind if the fabric your dying is another colour that the shade of purple will vary. Dyeing a white fabric will give the true colour but I love will the colour effect that I got going from pink to purple. It's easy to use but potentially messy so you need to be prepared with gloves, old utensils to stir the fabric dye bath and for removing fabric to rinse. I used a old large spoon and tongs and keep them separate with the pot I used to dye the fabric for future dyeing projects.
Fun, simple and effective dye for synthetic fabrics.

Budget Auto Eyeliner
I like this eyeliner in the colour Dark Grey as it's subtle and not too dark and a flattering shade. The pigmentation is like a pewter grey with a tiny amount of metallic shimmer. I like the auto eyeliner as you can adjust how much of the pencil tip you want exposed and roll it back down to protect it. It has a little sharpener at the end to keep the tip shape if it goes flat. At first use I found the pencil hardly left any product on my skin but after I drew a few lines onto the top of my hand it became much softer to use and I was really happy with the effect. I find I need to do a couple of layers to get the desired effect as I use it under my eyes as well as the top lids. I have even used it as eyeshadow and loved the long lasting effect when worn as eyeshadow.
For me it wasn't really a semi permanent eye liner but definitely lasts longer than most other eye liners I have used. Other shades of this brand might last longer but I have only used the dark grey. For the money it's a awesome budget eyeliner and I want to try other shades now. It does last at least around 8 hours on my under eye without a touch up on cooler days but warmer days I found it didn't last as long under my eyes as it did on my lids so needed a touch up.
I do recommend this eyeliner as it's a great little eyeliner for the price.

Wrinkles Schminkles Eye Smoothing Kit
I loved these the first night I put them on, they really smoothed out the whole under eye area and stayed put all night but the next night they started to slip thru the night even with very clean dry skin which I even applied witchhazel before applying the pads. They slipped up into my eyes which then made sleeping awkward and uncomfortable. If you slept sitting up then I think these would be awesome but laying on your back and on your side makes these ineffective in my experience. I persevered for another couple of nights after washing and drying the pads but they did the same thing and slipped into my eyes during the night so I was really disappointed to only get one true use out of them and at $12 for one nights use isn't cost effective for me. They would be better to use them during the day when your eyes don't close for a few hours before a night out and may last much longer and retain their adhesive quality. The first night I used them I was very impressed with how my under eye area looked the next morning but sadly they weren't suitable for me to wear overnight after the first night. If they were more adhesive and stayed in place during the night without slipping into my eyes I would have given them 5 stars and continued to purchase these pads. I even tried wearing them lower on my cheek bone area to see if they would slip but then my under eye area was pushed up and crinkled which defeats the purpose. I would only recommend them to try and wear during the day unless you can handle sleeping propped up or sitting so they stay in place. Great concept but unfortunately didn't really suit me.
