Well constructed and finished.
The grill meets the specs provided by Bosch for their under-counter fridges. I bought three for various uses. All were perfectly flat and well manufactured. They fit perfectly into a 45mm slot, and are substantial enough for anything you are likely to put onto a worktop. I treated the cut edges of the worktop with clear silicone, and put a fine bead along the flange of the grill, to avoid water ingress.
The only minor criticism is that the top edge of the ends wasn't finished as well as the long edges, and I had to use a couple of strokes with a fine file to take off the slight sharpness from them and the corners. Very minor, and wouldn't put me off recommending them to anyone.

Expensive waste of time
1 of 2 found this helpful Far too big and ungainly, and far, far too expensive. It is overly complicated, with too many joints, and takes up too much room for its purpose. The compression joints are poorly designed and manufactured. I am experienced, over many years, in fitting such plumbing and this was the worst kit I have ever used. Prone to leaks and awkward to fit due to the design, I didn't trust it and after one day removed and disposed of it.
I replaced it with a much simpler design, from a leading plumbing manufacturer, at half the price, which took much less time to fit and was superior in every way.
The Franke name caught me, and I expected much more than it turned out to be. Once bitten.
