Emeril's TV Dinners By Emeril Lagasse, (1998)
I like the introduction about Emeril in each book. I love his easy going down home personality. He starts you out like you are a beginning cook and takes you through each step. This book is easy to read and keeps your attention, you want to read it without stopping like a fiction story.

Emeril's Delmonico by Emeril Lagasse (2005)
I found the book difficult to read and it didn't keep my attention. This is due to the print being small and not in bold print. The layout of the book does not hold my attention so that I want to keep reading. The receipes do not seem to be geared towards "poor people". I bought the book as a gift.

From Emeril's Kitchens by Emeril Lagasse (2003)
Emeril explains the receipes in detail from the beginning to the end. I like the way he puts the ingredients in a column and to one side, it's very easy to read. The receipes are down home, they are not so fancy that you would never use them. I like the way he numbers each step on how to put everything together, it's very easy to read. I like the black and white print, it's easy for people with poor eyesight to read. The final results in color lets you know what the dish is supposed to look like when it is finished. This book is excellent. I bought the book as a gift.
