Just Above A Whisper, 2nd book,The Tucker Mills Trilogy
3 of 3 found this helpful "Just above a Whisper" is the 2nd book in The Tucker Mills Trilogy. It is an excellent follow-up to the 1st book, "Moonlight on Millpond." Lori Wick, the author, is a very gifted writer, and has the gift of making the reader lose themself in the story. I am still waiting the arrival of the third book in the Trilogy, and I expect it to be as satisfying as the first two books in the series. If you read any of Lori Wick's series or a single, stand alone book, you will not be disappointed. Her books are real page-turners!

Heart of a Lion , Book 1, a Series of 4 -Lions of Judah
0 of 1 found this helpful I chose to read this book because I had read many of Gilbert Morris' series, and I enjoy him as a writer. However, this series is Biblically based, making it a very different read from the type of books he usually pens. I bought the first book of the series, HEART OF A LION, and it was so interesting that immediately wanted to read the rest of the series. In no way did it endeavor to follow the Bible in the telling of the story, based on Biblical characters, but the story was plausable and added some interesting thoughts of what may have happened in their everyday lives. We all understand that the Bible does not tell every incident in the Biblical character's lives, and so one can only imagine life during that time in history. Therefore, I thoroughly enjoyed not only HEART OF A LION, but the entire series, and would recommend it to anyone who might enjoy reading about life in the Old Testament Era.
