Just like OEM
These are a direct replacement for the missing OEM splash shield screws on my 1999 Audi A4 (B5 chassis, 1.8T FWD)

Good Camp Chair
I just got back from a weekend of camping with this chair. It is easy to set up, and comfortable to sit in. For backpacking, it is a bit on the heavy side if you have a long trek planned, but it's ok for shorter hikes.
My only gripe is that the feet that keep the legs from sinking into the ground come off easily. In fact, I've already lost one of the 4.

Great Addition to the Marlin 1894
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for a new (2018 production) Marlin 1894. The rail and ghost ring sights came in a nice plastic tube with the instruction sheet inside. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I spent about 30 min installing the rail on my rifle; I could have done it quicker, but I was taking my time and enjoying the process.
The rail is nicely finished, and did not have any visible tooling marks or ragged edges. The screws were delivered in a couple of little zip-loc style baggies, and were also nicely made. The instructions could have better explained which screw goes in which hole, but I was able to work that out.
The kit has all you need for the installation, except the screwdriver, and it went onto my Marlin 1894 without any modification needed. The instructions indicate some modification might be needed with other models of rifle. I used a set of gunsmithing screw driver bits to work the screws on the rifle and the ones that came with the new rail. I recommend using good quality screwdrivers on this type of work.
I had the rifle on the range a couple days after the installation. The rail stayed in place and carried the sights nicely. I put a Burris Fastfire 2 on the rail, and really like that sight a lot. The ghost ring works well, but the Fastfire provided a better sight picture for my aging eyes.
I was a bit concerned the rail would make the rifle more awkward to carry, but the rail is small enough that the rifle still fits nicely in my hand when carrying it.
All-in-all, this is a great addition to the rifle, and makes it easy to install sighs or optics that are easier to use than the buckhorn sights that came with the rifle. I think it is awesome that a Picatinny rail can so easily attach to a rifle designed over 120 years ago. It makes it look a little like a Space Cowboy rifle.
