Great Book in a Disappointing Movie
I've read all of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr's novels, short stories, etc. and enjoy them greatly, but why someone would make this movie the way it was made is beyond me. It's loaded with a lot of really good stars, and that alone makes the movie worth a watch. Having read the book a couple of times I got it, but for the person that's unfamiliar with what's going in the characters minds it becomes a hodge-podge of confusion. A running narrative explaining the whys and why nots would've vastly improved this movie. And so it goes.

Better with a Cold Brew
Exactly what I expected, bad acting, bad CGI and cliché plot, but was fun to watch and that's what I enjoy when I get into my bad B-rate movie watching mood. The creature itself was fairly well done, though.
