Atari 7800 Game Ballblazer New Sealed
19 March 2023
BallBlazer is a masterpiece
BallBlazer is possibly the greatest title for the Atari 7800. It is timeless, it is 3d, it is fast, and it is 2 players. Also it's kind of like a soccer game. Also playing against the computer is challenging as heck if you put the higher AI levels.
Vintage SAE 8000 Stereo FM Digital Tuner, Nice Read Description

Great Tuner with great options but could of been better
I had the pleasure of purchasing an SAE 8000 just a few weeks ago. I bought it with some issues and they were very easy to fix; essentially the gunk iniside was terrible as it was in storage, and also the meter lights were burnt. I ordered very nice and cheap pure white led lights and they did a great job. The other weak point in those is the dual rubber band attached to the tuning wheel where they usually crack and bust, similar to bands on tape decks, but having two in the setup is good as you will still be up functional once the first lets go. What I really enjoy on it is the sound quality, the filter options, that -10db switch is essential because that tuner pre-amp is mental strong! But I do believe that was designed for the idea where ome could plug headphones in the front and have loud enough audio. The rest of the options are typical SAE ones like stereo / mono management. What I find is missing, and that might have to do with the fact it has the two meters is it doesn't give tuning guides like you see on some Sansui or Akai tuners. Meaning you can't center the signal properly other than looking at the meters and it's a bit confusing for most people who just want the channel and not get their eye glasses to figure out the best tuning. Also it doesn't have channel memories, of course at that time they didn't have those. Overall a great budget tuner I would recommend. I had a hard time to like the SAE brand, but once you play around with their Product, they feel quite natural, yet they require a bachelor's degree for some people.
