    Highly recommend.
Very helpful to me. Resonated with me more than anything I've read. Good bits of sociology in there. Some helpful lists here & there. One of my biggest takeaways is that everyone sometimes "fakes it till they make it"; learning as they go, and that it's ok not to know everything at first.

Moving, skillful, written with compassion, full of nastiness.
Not a feel-good book, but very moving and intriguing. Also, not a mystery, as I thought it was going to be for some reason. The book seems nasty at first, and is filled with plenty of nastiness, but was clearly written with much compassion, emotional intelligence, and skill. About a small town's politics and people. "Crash"-esque peeks into everyone's lives, concerns, desires, motivations, & problems. Encourages much empathy, which good fiction should do.

Great for kids, a little too basic for me as a 25 year old
It was even more basic than I thought it was going to be. It is a very thin book (reminds me of workbooks from grammar school). It only covers a few basic areas of the brain and the parts of neurons, but I learned them all pretty quickly and pretty well. Great for kids. Adults might want to just look that stuff up online and then move on to something slightly more advanced.
