Jeff Beck is a guitar hero among guitar heroes
When Jeff Beck has his moments, I believe he is untouchable. His ferocity and unbelievable phrasing is simply breathtaking! Also, his all-star band is just a joy to listen to. Vinny Colaiuta is an incredible drummer, Jason Rebello is an incredible pianist (his solo on space boogie is just wow) and of course the young talent Tal Wilkenfeld holds her own with these world-class musicians. Overall a great DVD and I hope I can see Jeff Beck one of these days if he tours the US!

Purest sound I've heard from headphones so far (not the biggest audiophile), bass isn't as strong as i'd like though

Eric Johnson is amazing!!
To simply put it, Eric Johnson is amazing. He covers a variety of styles
in this album incredibly well, and, as always, with his own unique style as the virtuoso he is. Even in his debut album he displays his trademark beautiful tone and is a joy to listen to. It's not your typical music but as a guitarist Eric Johnson will wow you and show you some things that you probably never heard of. Well maybe you have now since this has been released for a while... but if you haven't heard of Eric Johnson i highly recommend you get Ah Via Musicom, Venus Isle and Tones!! I especially enjoy the songwriting on Tones.
